Scott, a lifelong resident of Wilton Manors, has dedicated over three decades to public service in his hometown. Starting his journey in 1990 on the City’s Board of Adjustments, Scott transitioned to the Planning and Zoning Board in 1992. His commitment to the community led to his election to the City Commission in 2000. In 2002, his peers selected him as Vice Mayor, and by 2004, he was elected Mayor, serving a notable four-year term.
Scott’s dedication didn't stop there. In a special election in 2004, he returned to the City Commission, serving diligently until 2018. The community's trust in his leadership was reaffirmed in November 2020 when he was once again elected Mayor.
Beyond his public service, Scott has successfully run Quality Interiors for over 40 years. His vision for Wilton Manors focuses on uniting the city’s diverse communities, fortifying and enhancing infrastructure, and fostering thoughtful redevelopment of the aging commercial areas. Scott is committed to steering the Island City into a prosperous future.
